Alex was the best! Her communication was always prompt and thorough. The house was tidy upon return. And most importantly, she took excellent care of Frank, Carl, and especially Olive. Olive had a flare of pancreatitis while I was away, and Alex took her to the vet, administered medication, made special chicken and rice food for her recovery, and kept me well informed throughout the process. I have known Alex for 8 years and she has been pet sitting for around that time. We went on a cruise and Alex was willing to watch over the zoo. We have two larger parrots, 2 cats and one dog. She updated us everyday on the animals, followed instructions well. House was clean when we came home and the animals were healthy and happy. If you have parrots or exotic animals, Alex is a fast learner and has experience handling our parrots which is a huge plus in looking for a pet sitter because they can be harder to take care of. I would recommend Alex for your livestock or exotic animal needs.

Alex was a perfect fit for Colt! He is a high maintenance, active, Velcro kind of guy — and he fell in love with Alex right out of the gate. She managed his special needs very well. She noticed changes in his behaviour and made adjustments to help him be the best version of himself as possible. She did not hesitate to check in with me when needed if something was not right with him or the house. Colt would love to see Alex again! We really appreciated her attention to detail and caring personality.

Alexandra was great. Our kitties are typically shy but she's quiet and they came out within a couple hours of her being at the house — which was a breakthrough moment for Jackson, our shy feral cat. Alexandra provided us with pictures daily which was a great assurance that the cats were happy and peaceful. The house was well cared for while we were gone, and everything was neat and tidy when we came back. I would highly recommend Alexandra as a great pet and housesitter!

It is such a joy to be off on a monthlong road trip and to know that Shadow is getting all the love and care he needs. Alex took over as his best friend and I came home to a happy cat and a clean, orderly house — I highly recommend Alex as a caregiver and a cat magnet, you couldn't do better.

Alex did a great job taking care of the critters. Both Jasper the cat and Pip the dog seemed relaxed and cared for on our return. She had to be especially patient with Pip, who tends to be standoffish, but who she eventually won over after a few days. The house was well kept and clean and tidy. I've had the pleasure of working with Alex for the past year, during which time she maintained four of my properties both inside and out while also looking after my bulldog, Bailey.

I came home to a clean house and a well fed, happy cat. My car was exactly where we had agreed she would leave it for me. The plants were all watered, the fridge was cleared out, the trash was gone. In short, everything was perfect. I'd be more than happy to have her sit for me again.

Alexandra took excellent care of my cat, plants, and house for a little over 3 weeks. We got off to a slightly bumpy start as Amtrak overbooked her train, causing her to arrive a day late because the train only ran once daily. But everything with the stay was very smooth. She sent me daily photos and checked in a couple of times on house-related things. I left my car for her and she left a full tank of gas. I was very pleased with everything when I got home.
